Now baby can start to feel me dance. And now that he or she is more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (about as much as a large mango), I may be able to see her or him squirm underneath my clothes. Blood vessels in babies lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that my baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as a dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze baby when baby hears them outside the womb.
Baby D's arrival is just 4 months away!
